1. Selected succulents and cactus grown in teracotta pots, with white sand covering the surface of the soil, like some of the gardens here.
2. More flowers for bouquets: sweet peas planted in the spring, anemonies.
3. Laura suggested tokhme, and while I don't know about growing pumpkins, I would definitely be interested in this sunflower house.

what do you have against pumpkins? i think a pumpkin patch would go wonderfully along with your sunflower house.

by the way i have built in an online discussion component to a class i will be teaching this summer and i owe the inspiration partly to you. i originally was calling that component of the required assignments a daily blog but i since changed the name to web post. i thought that sounded a bit more official and subject to the harsh rigors of grading.
