The Bahá’ís in Iran

There have been some alarming developments regarding the Bahá’ís in Iran, and the fear is where it all might lead. If you haven’t heard about it, here are some links.

From the official Bahá’í website.

From the Times online

I remember when my mother explained to me about the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the wave of persecutions of the Bahá’ís that followed. We were in Liberia and I would have been seven. We were outside. The sun was shining through the bright green foliage of a coffee bush near by. It had red berries on it. I can’t remember what she said, but I remember the dawning understanding of what it meant, and her sadness in telling me about it.
