I decided to start posting again. And the thing that made me decide was: My favorite joke for the last 20 years.
"People have been making allegations....And I know who the alligators are."
I still can't say the punchline with a straight face. Told by a black-bearded Irishman on a train crossing the Polish-Czechoslovakian (as it still was then) border before the dawn. That might have been why it sounded so funny then, but I still think it's really funny.
